Our Team

Dr. Wahid Sahyouni was born and raised in Lebanon. After graduating high school, he got a scholarship in the United States where he then chose to attend Marquette University.

He graduated from Marquette University school of Dentistry (located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) in 1992. He attended a general dental residency program one year after graduating.

Dr. Sahyouni keeps on top of the latest technologies in the dental field in order to offer the best treatment towards his patients. Continuing education is a priority for him in order to uphold this promise.

- Royal College Of Dental Surgeons of Ontario
- Fellowship of International Congress of Implantologists

Dr. Wahid Sahyouni is married and has two daughters. When he is not working, he enjoys read, hike and travel.

Danyka has been at our office since here graduation from Canadore College as a dental hygienist in 2018 .

She is a great people person .She is very versatile. Danyka helps the team in the front office as well as having her patients smile after a relaxed dental hygiene visit. She enjoys walking and hiking with her puppy Murphy on her free time .

Jennifer is born and raised in north bay. She started out as a level 2 dental assistant in 2001 and became a dental hygienist in 2006. She Went to Canadore College for both programs and graduated with honours.

Jennifer also works part time as a dental technologist in the dental hygiene program at Canadore College,which she guides the dental hygiene students with their clinical skills.

When she is not in the office you can find her at the area rinks watching her son play Trappers hockey, or at the local gym cheering on her daughters competitive lighting cheer team.

She always has a friendly smile, offers professional advice and makes your needs her top priority

Christina has been with our office since September 2022.

She brings many years of experience in the dental field having graduated with honors from Canadore College in 1999 in dental assisting level 2.

When she is not at work she is enjoying time with her husband and 4 children

I was born and raised in Northbay. I am in charge of the sterilization in the clinic following Ontario Public health recommendations.

I am hoping to get some dental experience before applying in future for the Hygiene College .

I love to adventure on my spare time and find new places to explore.

Nadia, originally from Pakistan, earned her dental surgery degree in 2007 and completed her residency in 2009. After moving to Dubai, she passed her licensing exam and started working as a general practitioner dentist. Fueled by her passion for aesthetics, Nadia pursued various cosmetic dental courses, specializing in techniques like veneers to enhance her skills in her chosen field.

She undertook another move, this time to Canada. She found the confidence to embark on a fresh start as a dental assistant, with the support of the Northern Smiles Dental team. Her goal is simple: create a memorable experience for her clients and boost their self-image through her work.

Outside of her professional commitments, Nadia enjoys abstract art and interior designing . Additionally, she's a proud mother of two boys.

I graduated with honours from the Intra-Oral Dental Assisting Program in Sudbury in 2008. I then joined the Army and was the military Dental Technician at

15 Wing Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

I moved back to Ontario at the end of August 2023 and started working here at Northern Smiles Dental at the beginning of September. I am happy to have joined the team here and very happy to be back in Ontario near family again.

When I'm now working my 2 girls and I keep very busy spending lots of time with family.
